Fall off the wagon? It’s okay.
This weekend was a great celebration for my family, my youngest cousin/niece graduated from Spelman and we were soooo proud! Lots of family members flew to Atlanta and stayed in a fab Airb&b! My cousin catered dinner and deserts and snacks and everything you can think of AND I was FRONT AND CENTER IN EVERY FOOD LINE!
I had cake (gluten) I had candy (sugar and gluten) I had cocktails (everything else) I ate so poorly and today I AM FEELING IT!! I definitely wanted to share with the tribe because it's important that you know, I'm in the struggle with you.
There are times when we will fall off but the key is to get back on! So this is my get back on recipe!
So anytime I fall really far off:
I make sure I get right back to my routine of affirmations, meditation, and prayer. I remind myself that I’m healthy, healed, and happy!
I exercise! Nothing resets you quicker than exercising your body. Whether it’s a walk, stretching, yoga, whatever it is do something the next day!
Drink water! I always feel like I can flush out the gluten. Not sure if that’s true or not but I feel better.
I drink warm apple cider vinegar and honey.
I make sure to have a green smoothie for a couple of days after(just seeing the green makes me feel back on track!)
-What do you do when you fall off the wagon? Let’s share tips so we can all have those weekends we BOUNCE BACK FAST.
